 Strange Rescue

Our Lady of Paladins had a quest

So She sought six of the best,

A mighty sword from the past,

A suit of armour that must last

All went down by Keron Isle

 Now with creatures totally vile.

 Roughish Marday, the Captain bold,

Led them bravely just for gold

With winds both fair and true

Fair and square he led them too,

Across seas both broad and wide

To Garvin Bay where trout abide.

Deep in the woods there was a pool

 Maiden Torran, whose nobodies fool,

Just with grass and apple and mint

And many kind words quite without stint

A pure white horse try to befriend

There gained a mighty winged friend.

 Looking here and looking there

 Eating this and eating that

 Into the woods Thabron went

 Running here and running there

 Voiding this and voiding that

 Into the woods Thabron went.

 Maggots swarm the Sorkin mountains

 Without beauty and crystal fountains

Enemies of Men and Dwarves and Elves

 Humanoids that mainly eat themselves

Gargun small and many, all totally vile,

Or large and few, quite without style.

The mighty man of magic, Frost,

Kept his head when all was lost

The gallant captain he did save

When the Gargun gave close shave

Out of the frying pan into the fire

Many was the Gargun that did expire.

 Steadfast Paladin Othar DThay

Sought to hold an Auto de Fe

 Many a foe did disembowel

 Hideous Gargun small and foul

But the chieftain was no fool

And refused the offer to a duel.

 Gargun here and Gargun there

 Singing this and singing that

 Into the rocks Daniel went

 Climbing here and climbing there

 Writing this and drawing map

 Up the rocks Daniel went.

To far Azadmere did they see

And many birds far and free

Lake Larain all blue and fey

Six white birds were far away

Far below the woods were hot

But the Gargun saw them not.

Trapped they sat on mountain top

There remained and got a shock

Six white birds were six winged horses

Come from afar to join forces

Through the air they swiftly flew

Six staunch friends brave and true.

 Oh maiden Torrans noble deed

Gained the aid of a winged steed

 Who then returned with salvation

Released them all from that station

But what a shame and a pest

They mostly failed Our Ladys quest.

 Flying here and flying there

 Soaring here and diving there

Into the air they all went

 Flying here and flying there

 Diving here and soaring there

Into the air they all went.
